Some of the world's finest sporting moments have been played out on this very well cared for spot. But for Eden Park's turf manager, Mark Perham, taking care of such hallowed ground is all in a day's work.

Mark heads up a full time team of six who prepare Eden Park's fields for the winter rugby and summer cricket seasons.  They're backed up by another hard-working team, their crew of TORO mowers and equipment.

The line-up includes two TORO Workmans for spraying and general utility work, three TORO Fairway mowers for the perfect striped effect grass finish, and TORO Topdressers for spreading sand and gypsum on the pitch. 

"Our TORO gear is very reliable and easy to use, with excellent back-up service," says Mark.

"And one of the things we really like about TORO is how easy the units are to adjust."

And, of course, all eyes will be on Eden Park in the not-too-distant future as the co-host for the Cricket World Cup in 2015.
